2018 Assuli Syrah 'Ruggiero'

A great value Syrah from northwestern Sicily, this is fermented and aged in steel tanks. A great alternative for those who love Rhône and other southern French wines! Pair with anything off the grill, pasta with meat sauce, chile rellenos, and sausage and peppers. Delicious notes of lavender, spice, Mediterranean herbs, juicy red fruit, black olive and cocoa come together with a medium body and deft balance.
