Almost all Mencia, with smaller amounts of Tempranillo, Caino, and Alicante Bouschet. The vineyards are all sustainable, organic or biodynamically farmed, but this is a collection of fruit from small growers in the area, so nothing is certified. Fermented and aged solely in stainless steel to preserve freshness. Tasting Notes This red is full in flavor yet light on its feet. Generous aromas and flavors of raspberry, cherry, strawberry, dried rose, violet, and spice are all on display here.

Gia is certified organic, long aged, Prosecco-style sparkling wine with zero sugar or chemical additives of any kind. The producer is Massimo Marion, one of the most respected organic farmers in the wine country 45 minutes north of Venice. The vast majority of Prosecco and other Italian sparkling wines imported into the US are juice from chemically farmed, machine harvested grapes.
